Hiding the options could be interpreted a couple ways - simply hiding, and leaving the corresponding space blank - or hiding and having the rest of the content move up the page.

We have fairly extensive experience altering the code for BTO.  I've discussed your requirement with my team and would need to fiddle with it to see if the 2nd option might be practical.  Just having the options that are currently being grayed out is probably not that tough.  Compacting the space may be a greater challenge.

I am using BTO with Conflict Management in a Version 5 Store

Does anyone know a way to hide options instead of Greying them out? Or even making the option a drop down and only displaying the one available.

Thanks for your generous offer. The site is not public yet but is an upgrade to our live site and is under construction on a development server. I have used the chrome developers tools before although infrequently, so I will give this a shot and see if I can identify it. I really appreciate your response and will hopefully be able to resolve it with the help you have provided without taking more of your time. Link your site and I'll identify it. Use chrome and right click on it, and press Inspect Element.

Is there a mechanism to hide rather than "gray out" unavailable selections in a drop down list where conflict management has disabled a selection during a BTO product configuration. I know the apparel sub-products have a built in feature that allows such a "hiding" option and I believe I have seen a toggle character in a page code in the past in a wiki or a posting however I am unable to locate any reference now to hiding unavailable selections.We would rather hide selections rather than gray out on some or all products.

Is anyone aware of a simple way to hide the unavailable selections?

Hi, I know this posted a long long time ago, but this idea makes perfect sense. The conflict management rules should be set from a single page and these rules would apply to all BTO configurations....Rather than going through each BTO configuration and applying the rules.
 
Has anyone looked into this since? I think it's a major weakness of the conflict management tool as it is really time consuming to make sure the rules are updated after a product has been removed or added to BTO configurations.

In OnePageCheckout.asp  in firefox Customer Alert message is showing in most of the purchase. 
From research the error is causing from jquery ajax error section. can any one direct us to the cause of this issue.
