In Connecticut we have a 6% sales tax on merchandise. Shipping and handling is also taxable. We also have a $50 apparel exemption (no tax on the apparel or the shipping).

I'm having a hard time getting tax to calculate correctly. No problem on the taxable items, but when I try to buy a t-shirt (non-taxable) it still adds tax to the S&H. In my tax table, I have S&H selected as taxable and have added Apparel as a location exemption, but that not impacting the shipping.

Appreciate any thoughts.
