    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=171">MarkCoyle</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 935<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05-July-2007 at 8:12am<br /><br /><P>To enable us to do more around 'suppliers' we have created all our suppliers as Drop Shippers (even though they aren't) and customised the email they receive.&nbsp; Then we associated all the products with the relevant drop shipper.&nbsp;&nbsp; It's given us far more flexibility generally.&nbsp;&nbsp; </P><P>We sell music downloads (with no physical media delivered) using PC, so everytime an artist's music sells they or their label receive an email to tell them.&nbsp; It's been a very popular addition.&nbsp;&nbsp; We have hundreds of artists and add about 20 more a month so this is vital in tracking their sales and so on.</P><P>Whether this benefits what you need I haven't researched but it might be worth taking a look.</P><P>cheers</P><P>Mark</P>]]>

(Found a solution by using a code in the front of the SKU to separate them. Not pretty but effective)</P><P>*** The ultimate would be a 'search feature' like 'Locate a product'&nbsp;for update prices and when the results are displayed, the prices is an editable field that can be saved. ***</P><P>Just an idea.</P><P>Rob</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
