how are you going to manage your inventory ? Are you using quickbooks ?

I looked at the demo store and played around, before posting my question.

y question is more how to export on a regular basis the order information to my actual inventory/accounting system ?

I am looking for some code, or customization, so I can export to a specific format the order, after the customer complete the order, without having to go to the control panel to do it

secondly, how the ups, fedex is integrated is still pretty confusing for me

Hi Yohan,

I have only just purchased PC myself and the best thing to do is have a play with the demo store.  You have full back end access to the store and email settings so you can have a play with your own test orders.

There is also a comprehensive data export to csv under the reports section.  Again you can play around with this in the store demo.

I am a potential customer of product cart, and I need some explainations
I read the documentation, but I am still missing some points:

When the customer is pressing: check out.
is there an email generated to the admin of the store ?
how the ups/fedex is integrated ?

is there a mechanism to have a csv file generated to a ftp or email, so I can integrated product cart with my actual inventory/accounting system ?

basically, I am looking for a way to integrate the store to my actual system, by generating a file with info like:

order_number
product
qty
shipping info

I am missing something, or there are a better way to do it
i saw that there is a quickbooks addon, but it doesn't seems a valuable solution in my case.
