Our sales & marketing folks are always finding new ways to make my life more complicated...the latest one has turned into a feature suggestion for ProductCart.

We would be interested in the implementation of a daily discount on certain products.  For a variety of reasons, we'd like to keep unit sales meshed with our current products (i.e. just doing a separate product with the discounted price won't work).  Two concepts for solving this conundrum leap to my mind...

1 - Dynamic discount codes (i.e. codes generated and auto e-mailed to someone once a day)

2 - Dynamic product links that apply an instant discount on the price...these links would need to expire after a certain time (e.g. daily)

I recognize the technical challenges of such a request...but...figured it would be worth tossing out here for ya'll to consider. ;)
