we have now sorted this.   We take a custom export from ProductCart and populate a new ASP reporting tool that gives our artists secure reports and tables of sales by month, product with ability to print and download to Word, Excel.

We used ASP Report Maker here:

We recommend this highly.  We only got it Friday night and had our new portal up and launched to our suppliers by yesterday with excellent feedback already coming in.

Hi all,

Following on from my email of a couple of weeks ago in this area of the forum, I am building an add-on for our store that takes the custom feeds out of ProductCart and tracks sales online in a portal for our suppliers.  

We have loads of music artists and labels who want to see their sales, revenue share and call off funds owed.   We do this with a simple ASP database driven add on at the moment.  We are now going to grow this so the suppliers can see sales history by month and produce reports too.

In order to avoid repeating researches already done - how do you manage your suppliers today?   ProductCart has basic functionality but doesn't manage commissions / revenue shares / wholesale sale and funds payment.

Do you do it bespoke, manually or via a third party product?

(such as vendor/supply chain management, customised CRM portal, ERP suite like Microsoft Dynamics or SAP etc).

I don't expect ProductCart would as no other solution I've found does it either.  I'm just curious - how does everyone else do this?   I'm sure we're not the only ones with this requirement.
