As long as you are using https for collecting user details and your privacy policy reflects GDPR requirements you're probably OK.

If you're sending promotional emails, then probably best managed outside PC with MailChimp or other platform for double opt-in facility. Guest checkout might be a problem area as the 'newsletter' option is available but not then unsettable by the customer unless they then create a password.

Does anyone know if latest version of ProductCart v5.2.10 is compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (aka: GDPR) that the European Union has ratified, and compliance with it will be mandatory world-wide on May 25, 2018?

The fines for non-compliance are WAY steep, so I want to make sure our webstore is in compliance.
