In the FedEx Web Services options, you can set the Delay Shipment Setting to add a single day or multiple days to your shipments in order to buffer for pickup times, etc. - however it would be much more useful if you could set an actual cutoff time, so that order placed after a certain hour are bumped an extra day. 

I assume you cannot enter a fractional "day" (ie - .5 for 12 hours) in this field?

And to clarify: This matters most when someone wants a shipment via overnight. In our case - if they place the order after 4, we would like something to warn them that the order will be delayed.
