I am pretty sure it's supposed to work the way you want it to. But I do think you have to add a supplier/drop shipper, then add a product under that supplier and then place a sample order for that product.
Then you could try logging in as that supplier, I think it would work then.

Just a suggestion, I'm obviously not a programmer and I haven't tried it myself, but I hope it works.

How does the drop shipper log in to update order information? I added log in information and tried to log in from the home page. I cannot find this information in the user manual.
