The only kind of navigation that it shows for the side menu is jquery, is there any way to make it generate how used to look like on my current site?

I'm upgrading one of my sites to v5.01bacm
When I go to Generate Storefront Category Navigation in the back-end, I can't seem to find an option/way to make the expandable/collapsible lists for my Browse by Category navigation.

I cannot use the newer menuing options, as the amount of items/sub-levels in the navigation is too large to make use of them.
