Hey there: I've got v4.6 running. I inherited it from someone else. If you've got something in the cart, and opt to checkout, you're given the options to login with an existing account, login with a new account, or checkout without making an account. If you have an email that's made an account previously, it doesn't let you choose the last option, instead forcing you to either enter your password or request a new pass.
I'd prefer that people who don't want to login can continue to checkout, regardless of whether or not they have made an account previously. Is that possible? If so...what do I do?

Sorry about the brain-dead sounding question. Haven't found any information in regards to this so I thought I'd ask here.
