That way you could use built in Productcart functionality and not have to build your own file and hook it up to Productcart. That would take a lot more work than what I am thinking you could do via the custom shipping methods. I think I could help you with this but I'd need to know more on exactly how you are thinking things will work in the control panel. If you would like to PM me on this I'd be more than happy to figure something out that would work for you.<br><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=204">MGatESS</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5735<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10-October-2013 at 3:01pm<br /><br />I want to make a completely custom shipping options selection for customers to select from instead of what is provided by shipping companies or ProductCart.<div><br></div><div>Is there a way to a) create my own shipping options file and b) connect/upload it to ProductCart?</div><div><br></div><div>To further explain, I want a drop-down selection or radio buttons in the checkout process that will ONLY offer what I want AND it not calculate shipping charges. &nbsp;We're having a lot of issues with the shipping calculations from Federal Express - sometimes the linked system will overcharge, other times it'll undercharge depending on the product(s) someone selects. &nbsp;Since we use our own boxes and they vary by what quantity of items we need to ship (and since prices fluctuate depending on weight AND box size via FedEx) nothing calculates properly and the owners don't want to deal with the inaccuracy.</div><div><br></div><div>So, I want to make a file that I can upload or link-to ProductCart that will take the place of all the other options. &nbsp;I don't want it to calculate anything during checkout, just give a list of "generic" options that we want displayed. &nbsp;Example of a list of options:</div><div><br></div><div>Ground Shipping</div><div>Expedited Shipping</div><div>Freight Delivery</div><div>Pickup At ESS</div><div>Hand-Carry</div><div>ESS Delivery</div><div>Cust. Scheduled Pickup</div><div>Call with Options</div><div><br></div><div>This way, when we print the orders, one of these selections will come up in the "Shipped Via" so we will know what to do with it. &nbsp;Our stocking and shipment methods have so many variables, that we cannot get accurate shipping costs and delivery times. &nbsp;By keeping it as basic as possible and no costs (we have our e-mails and checkout messages that will inform the customer of how things will progress) we can avoid a lot of issues.</div><div><br></div><div>Can anyone help me on this??</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by MGatESS - 10-October-2013 at 3:02pm</span>]]>
