I'm having this problem too. However, it is interminttent. I'm not timing out as I try to check out immediately after adding something to the cart. I've checked my SSL and it is fine too. Are there any other reasons for this issue?

Thanks, was told it was due to SSL issue and needed to make an adjustment on the web server. Hello,

I have an issue when I have items in my shopping cart. All the features in the cart work normal like removal of items, recalculation of quantities etc. When I select the checkout button the cart disappears and displays the cart is empty. When I select the items again from the menu the cart reappears. I have tried different setups of shipping using weight or cost in the custom shipping options and the issue is the same. Is this a code issue or does some setup need to be used or adjusted?
