Hi Cindy,

I just recently created an add-on that allows you to offer expedited shipping to your customers. It is displayed in the shipping panel in the one page check out and works separately from the actual shipping methods. I think this might help you with the first thing you discussed in your post.

For the rest of your needs there, I believe you are going to need some customizations done to product cart to get exactly what you are looking for. If you would like to discuss this with me please PM me your email address and I'll respond to you

We are working with custom shipping options that we want to display to our customers at checkout.  We would like to have a Standard shipping service and an Expedited shipping service available to choose from, similar to Amazon. 

When we ship these orders, we need to use either UPS or Fed Ex based on shipping location, time in transit, and a cost comparison.  (BTW, It would be very helpful to have this display on an Order Details tab.)

If we "turn off" completely both UPS and FedEx shipping options in the storefront, it turns them off in the Shipping wizard.  How then can we still use their services to ship through Product Cart?

When you set up UPS and FedEx, you are asked which services you want to make available in the storefront.  When you uncheck all of them, you are told to check at least one, or if you choose an international method (just to eliminate anything showing up for domestic addresses), the tab still shows up in the store.  I guess I have to custom hide these tabs so that they don't show up in opc and in the shipping estimator on viewcart.

 If I am missing something really easy here, please let me know.
