We don't use the "shipping" status... I see we can change the message it displays on the vieword pages but it also displays shipping info like the address etc. Is there a simple way to have the 'shipping' status not show all the extra stuff like the address, shipping packages etc. on the vieword pages?

Basically I want it to look like the 'pending' status... where it has a line that says: This order is pending. I want to use the 'shipping' option to make a new message in place of that but without it displaying all the extra shipping address, packages etc. - would this be hard?

Could I just find the code that creates the shipping address, packages etc. on the vieword page for the "shipping" status and use a display: none on it? Or is this the same code used on the "shipped" status?

That's not a small project at all as far as I can see. The indicator is a flag that indicates any one of the valid statuses for an order. is there a way to add another order status option to the control panel? if we add a new line to languages.asp what else would we need to do to have the new option show up on the drop down box in the control panel? Thanks!
