    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=35">Ryan Bell</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 49<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29-November-2005 at 1:02pm<br /><br />Well, the reason that I ask is that I'm currently using ShopFactory (<A href="http://www.shopfactory.com" target="_blank">www.shopfactory.com</A>), and I used a default template for the design.&nbsp; I didn't use a typical "editor" like Dreamweaver, FrontPage, etc, so I can't just open up an editor and save each page.&nbsp; What I'm getting at is that I don't know if you can import a template from another shopping cart package into yours.&nbsp; Secondly though, I don't even know if I want to do that.&nbsp; I just wanted some good templates to work with that I could customize and go (quickly).&nbsp; I want to be able to quickly get my framework done, and start working on inputting products. options (gift wrap, etc), and get this up as soon as I can.&nbsp; I really don't have time to design another site.&nbsp; I just wish I could use the software first to see how I like it.&nbsp; <IMG src="https://forum.productcart.com/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1">ProductCart</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 49<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22-November-2005 at 12:27pm<br /><br /><P>ProductCart comes with a 'default' template (header.asp &amp; footer.asp), which can certainly be customized with your own logo and color scheme.</P><P>The template is really meant to be just a temporary placeholder while you create your own graphical interface for your store (or adapt an existing one).</P><P>One interesting thing about the default template is that it contains some code snippets to show how dynamic elements can be integrated into your Web site design. For example:</P><UL><LI>Dynamic category list</LI><LI>Shopping cart summary</LI><LI>Search box</LI><LI>Login box (which turns into an Account Menu when logged in)</LI><LI>etc.</LI></UL><P>Note that any work on the template is always&nbsp;done locally on your desktop&nbsp;and the header/footer files are uploaded to the server.
