Hi Everyone,

We are currently beta testing our website. Our testers noticed something and we'd like to fix it before we go live. (1 Reward Point = $0.20 on our site)

Has anyone else noticed that you can use more points than needed on an order? (Or am I just lucky enough to have it happen with just my store, lol?)

I add a free product to the cart. (free product not free BTO product) I click Check Out. I agree to the terms & conditions and continue. On the onepagecheckout page it tells me how many rewards points I have. Let's say I have 100 ($20).  Whether I type 100 and click Recalculate or type 100 and click Place Order.... all the rewards points are used on the free product. No credit appears when they go to place their next order. The rewards points are gone.

We don't have credit card processing live yet, but I know we definitely don't want to be issuing $0.20 refunds to people. (Or is that how it is handled and I just haven't seen it because we're in test mode?)

A free product is the worst case scenario, but if the total comes to $20, you can waste rewards points on it just as easily, whether it's $21 or $100 or more.

Has anyone else experienced this?
