If someone visit from affiliate A then they are rightly treated as the affiliate who introduced the new customer. Take a look at the Wiki where the rules about affiliates are documented.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=126">steverguy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4581<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29-June-2011 at 10:50am<br /><br />Through testing, we've found that if someone visits our site from "affiliate a", then visits our site from "affiliate b", "affiliate a" will get the sale.<div></div><div>We only have one affiliate, but during testing, I created a test affiliate.&nbsp;&nbsp;My test&nbsp;order worked as expected.&nbsp; Today, when testing the link our affiliate had put on their site, I processed the order, but it showed up under my test affiliate.&nbsp; I verifed that the affiliate's id was correctly in the link.&nbsp; It was.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I then tried the order on another computer, using the affiliate's link - this one applied correctly.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Has anyone else seen this?</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I know that it's rare that one person will reach our site using different affiliates, but it is possible, since our customers are part of a community...</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]>
