Hi Hamish
No point raising a ticket for this, the workaround, works fine for us.
We're using 4.1 SP1, BTO. Maybe it was fixed in SP2, but we're not going to upgrade until 4.5 comes out.

But anyway, thought I'd post in case other people were having the same problem and couldn't work out a fix.

Howdy
Thought I'd post a little bug we found with best sellers routine.
This only happens when the URLs are SEO optimized.

If U create a new category (Say for a newsletter promo) and link a product to that new cat. The link becomes (eg) 359p781.htm . Ie in Category 359 and idproduct 781.

If that product becomes a best seller, And then U turn off the new category (Not Active), (But dont delete from product) the best seller link routine keeps the category 359.

The JS hover works over the Best Seller product on the front, But clicking it will bring up "This product is no longer valid"

Looks like to me if you turn off a category, it doesnt actually remove it from products unless you manually remove it. (We havent tried what happens if U delete the cat, if it automatically removes it from the product. Only Not Active...
