I am trying to build an ITunes-ish site for software downloads. I have a BTO product made up of BTO items.

If they don't customize:
- I want to sell them the BTO product as a download.

If they do customize:
- I want to sell them the BTO items as downloads and not the BTO product.

Right now BTO items do not have a download option. I thought about trying the apparel add-on, but if you set the download... sub-product turns off, and if you set the sub-product... download turns off.

I would love the option to have BTO items have a download option or even Custom fields so that I can store the path information in there and code it myself more easily.
