    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=755">loracady</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4241<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04-January-2011 at 11:42am<br /><br />After the New Year, just wanted to take a second and comment about some help I received from Greg in December.&nbsp; In late November, the NC Dept of Revenue changed its filing requirements.&nbsp; Now anytime that I sell&nbsp;an item&nbsp;within NC, I have to report the county to which that item is shipped and the amount of sales tax collected.&nbsp; First I purchased the tax file add-on.&nbsp; Though the tax file add-on&nbsp;records&nbsp;the county data for each of my&nbsp;NC customers, there is no place in ProductCart to retrieve that county data.&nbsp; I contacted Greg to see if he knew of a way to use that data so I can accurately report the info to the NC Dept of Revenue.&nbsp; Greg created a custom report for us that lists the customer's name, the amount of the sale, and the tax rate.&nbsp;This report has helped us by saving us time and by helping us to report the sales taxes accurately.&nbsp; If anyone else is struggling with destination based sales tax, I highly recommend Greg's services for custom work.&nbsp; ]]>
