But it seems it is one step forward and another step backwards.  Managing catagories that used to work well is now as awkward - if not more so - than the old custom fields addition was. 

Adding to my frustration is that when putting a new product up - something I do often - with the different areas that must be accessed to complete all parts of the new page, I can't keep track of what has to be saved as soon as it is entered and what can be grouped before saving. 

For this an other areas related to the backend of a website, is there a user's manual or cheat sheet that lists what has changed and what steps to take to efficiently take advantage of the change?
