Hi everyone, Today also we are facing the same problem USPS API. Can any one help to solve the issue. What are the remedies which you take to avoid this situation.

You can also see Twitter updates right from the Control Panel (Help > Twitter Updates).

Yes, this thread saved me some time.. I was getting ready to contact USPS to find out what was going on.  I had disabled USPS also to get things back working again.
 
Is there going to be a notification from EI when it's ok to enable it again, or are we on our own??

Folks,
  Looks like USPS servers are back to normal - please check on your sites.
We are still working on a solution to prevent this impacting stores in future - lots of dicussion going on!
I expect there will be a post on the Just In section and/or a tweet about it.

Hi,
   We saw the same issue and we are investigating as a matter of urgency. I the meanwhile the action you took of disabling USPS is the corrcet remedial action.

It is causing the Shipping Method section to error out. That error causes customers to not be able to check out. I've noticed the demo store here is having the exact same problem. Maybe the ship method section should not go entirely down if one provider is down?
