You should do a google search for favicon and you will find plenty of sites explaining how to apply one to your site. All you basically need to do is create the icon using a generator of some sort or photoshop... then save it as "favicon.ico" and put the file in the root directory of your website. IE firefox and other browsers will automatically find that file and use it.
