Thanks Shawn, I did see that. Just to add to Greg's response, PC 3.5 and above sets a cookie on the visitor's computer so if they purchase on future visits the affiliate will still get credit. You can set the amount of days the cookie remains on your visitors computer. So if you only want to give the affiliate credit if the visitor places an order within 7 days you'd set this value to 7. Hi All,

Trying to figure out a couple of things about affiliates. When setting up an affiliate, I notice you can select an item to generate a link. I also seem to remember that somewhere in the Wiki it mentions an item link and a store link. Is the store link the affiliate log-in link or is it a generic link for any product purchased?

Also, if we set up a product link for an affiliate and the customer links to the product but decides to purchase some other item, is that other product sale recorded to the affiliate? I want to be sure that I'm disclosing the correct information to the affiliate.
