In other words, are not net sales calculated by subtracting shipping and handling, tax, gift certificates, coupons, credit or non-cash payment, and returns from the total sales amount?

In the User Guide, I'm unable to find the exact method used to calculate affiliate commissions using the Product Cart feature. Is it net sales? The Purchase price. I want to make sure to word the Affiliate FAQ correctly.
