I am customizing the tracking for my client to post to third party affiliate software and am having trouble with the tracking code. I think that I must have the tracking link incorrectly configured. Here is what my code looks like:

<img border="0" src="http://www.myaffiliatesoftware.com/sale.php?profile=777777&idev_saleamt=ptotal&idev_ordernum=pOrderNumber" width="1" height="1">

The ptotal posts the word ptotal rather than the total of the sale and the same for pOrderNumber. If I hard code an amount into the ptotal such as 10.00, it works.

What I am I doing incorrectly?
