I'm not sure if there's a better way with v4.x, but in 3.1x we were able to customize the Google Checkout XML code to achieve this same result. I'm sure we could help you do the same on your store if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested.
Author: sdittemore
Subject: 3884
Posted: 27-July-2010 at 5:23pm

Hi

I'd like to install the google conversion code for use with my PC site and Google AdWords. Im currently using google checkout to process payments. With that said, the documentation I've found only speaks to installing the conversion code when using the checkout process within Product Cart. Another option I've seen is to link your google Analytics / AdWords and Google Checkout accounts. Go figure but when I try to link my Adwords and Checkout accounts the confirmation email sent from google never is sent to me. I have seen several topics on other site describing similar problems with that function of google.

I do have my callback url in google checkout and orders are coming thru.

Does anyone know if I can add the conversion tracking code to a page in Product Cart to achieve the conversion tracking I want. I've tried adding it to OrderTracking_Complete.asp but it results in an error when browsing for products.

Im really frustrated with google at the moment. Wonder if I should go with another payment processor like Authorize.net

If anyone can shed some light on this it is much appreciated.

thanks
Steve
