There have been improvements made in recent versions to check stock levels more frequently to minimize the chances of overselling when it is not allowed.

Hello,

Using v4.0a SP4
 
We just launched our site mediabridgeproducts.com a couple months ago and have had just about enough orders to see how things work. So there may be a simple solution to this. We have an item that we are currently out of stock and the inventory settings for the item show 0 (zero) and the "Allow Backordering" box is not checked. Yet the item is showing as available on our site and our inventory now shows -1 since someone has successfully ordered it.
 
How can that be?
 
We have other items that show our message "Currently Unavailable" when they run out. Am I missing something?
 
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
