Greg, you're right, I'm not familiar with how databases work.

Early Impact Team, thanks for the clarification. Based on this discussion, the solution that I have come up with is this: I will keep the content pages separate from the ProductCart CMS while I am still extensively working on them, but once our entire site is more or less finalized, I will integrate them into the ProductCart CMS.

That way, since any future editing would be minimal, I would very rarely have to go through the Dreamweaver-ProductCart editing loop (I must say I disagree with you: this is the process I use to edit our product descriptions - they use HTML and CSS - and I think it is lengthy and cumbersome when working on many pages).

Hi Alex,

As Greg said, this is not technically possible "out of the box" because the HTML is not available in an FTP location (there is no HTML or ASP file that contains that content).

However, you can certainly do the following:

- Open the HTML editor in ProductCart
- Go to Code View
- Copy
- Paste into Dreamweaver
- Edit in Dreamweaver
- Copy the content in Dreamweaver that is between the <BODY> and </BODY> tag
- Paste back into ProductCart
- Save the page

It sounds more time consuming than it actually is. Hi all,

My company has been using ProductCart extensively for our online store for many years. I am their new web commerce specialist and am redesigning the interface of the store. I have a question about the content management system in ProductCart.

Is there a way to edit the content pages so that it syncs up with Dreamweaver?

I make many changes to the HTML/CSS of the content pages and would like to be able to edit them in Dreamweaver without having to copy the code from Dreamweaver, open ProductCart, find the content page, paste the code into the HTML editor, preview the page, edit the code again in Dreamweaver, and repeat the process.

I guess what I'm asking is: do the content pages have a physical location in the "pc/store/" folders (or elsewhere) where I can edit them in Dreamweaver and then automatically upload them to the FTP through the sync feature in Dreamweaver.
