    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1902">odathp</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3635<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 21-April-2010 at 1:50pm<br /><br />I opened a ticket yesterday and they got right back to me.&nbsp; Basically they are saying this is working as designed.&nbsp; Although, they can see my point.&nbsp; They were going to forward my ticket to the developers.<br><br>I requested they considered this as an option.&nbsp; Also requested they point me at the code, so I can removed filtered  &#091;excluded&#093; product/categories from the cart total for discount code calculation purposes.&nbsp; Currently &#091;excluded&#093; product/categories are included in the cart total when matching to each discount code range.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1902">odathp</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3635<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19-April-2010 at 4:39pm<br /><br />I'm not sure if there is a bug here or I'm missing something.<br><br>Using ProductCart v4.0a SP 3.<br><br><div>I setup a 3% discount for orders between $200-$300.<br><br>I setup a filter to exclude 1 category.<br><br>The order contains $70 of product eligible for discount and $150 of product not eligible.<br><br>The discount code sees the $220 order and applies the 3% discount to the $70 order.<br><br>It seems that the discount should not be applied to the $70 order since it is not in the $200-$300 range.<br><br>I would think the discount code should not be looking at the total order.&nbsp; Instead it should subtract the filtered categories/products from the total order before deciding it falls in the $200-$300 range.<br><br>Any help would be appreciated.<br><br>Thanks,<br>Jack</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by odathp - 20-April-2010 at 12:31pm</span>]]>
