You may also want to contact Early Impact directly for a list of known hosts that support Product Cart.

We provide hosting for our own clients through our own managed servers with Rackspace so I can't recommend any specific hosting service. Having said that, you want to be careful not to just go with just any "cheap" service because many of them have poor performance and customer service. Do your homework to research their historical uptime and performance record and make sure thye have 24/7 quality support.

If you plan on building sites regularly, you may also want to consider signing up as a reseller/affiliate with the hosting service so you can get some kind of residual income.

Your local OS shouldn't matter when editing the header and footer files. is this going to be a problem?

I am not talking about the server—— but my local cpmputer on which I iwllusr=e dreamwever to customize the header and footer files

if it is a problem do you think running virtual pc qwould solve it?
