Hi Loracady, The reason the fields are in that order is that the State Code field is dependent on the Country Code - There is no Illinois in the UK for example :-)
To see the effect change the country to another country and you will see the state code field change. If that is not an issue for your store as you a purely US store then it should be possible to rearrange the state fields, but it may be a better solution to hide the country code if that is the case. If the code is customized of course this would then need maintenance during upgrades.

I'd like to change the order of the fields on the One Page Checkout. For example, I think it makes more sense for a customer to type in City, State, Zip, and then Country (instead of City, Zip, Country, and then State.) I'm sure there is a reason for the order of these fields, and that is why I am wondering if it is a big deal to rearrange them.
