Chris: are you referring to the Affiliate Login box located on the default version of header.asp? That file is just a placeholder. You certainly do not have to use it for your store. It's just gives you an example of how dynamic code snippets can be integrated with static HTML code.

You should create your own, customized graphical interface for your store. It's extremely easy to do. Here is a page that talks about it.
