What version of the store are you using?  If you send me your email I will send you my modified one (3.12 or 3.51).  I took out short description and long description.

Thanks. What exactly do I need to remove in the file? It is Showsearchresults.asp in the PC folder.  Removing the search of the description field took our search speed from 35 seconds to 2-3 seconds.  We have about 40K products with a lot of information in the description field.

Which file contains the query that ProductCart uses to conduct searches? I want to customize the search so that it DOES NOT search the description of each product. I also want to customize the query so it searches the metatag field of the product table in the DB.
