    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4">katharina</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3114<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16-October-2009 at 3:20pm<br /><br />I prefer that too.&nbsp; We have customers that say we are not giving them the correct amount.&nbsp; They say they spend 20 dollars but only got 18 points.&nbsp; The happens when they have an item at 1.45 and only get 1 point.&nbsp; Its all a rounding issue.&nbsp; It can be a large discrepancy with large orders full of low priced items like you describe.&nbsp; Its hard to tell them that they have to look at each items page to see how many points they get. &nbsp; They just get frustrated.&nbsp; Basing it on the entire order amount less shipping cost will be easier.<br><br>]]>

However, I do have items that are inexpensive and no points are rewarded.<br /><br />If someone bought a whole slew of cheap items, the points should be based on the subtotal of the order.]]>
