When creating a new category, the Product Details Page Display Setting is automatically setting to 2 Column with Image on Right which is not what my Storewide Default is set to. I was having problems when creating some new products and the wrong display settings were being applied. Went round and round trying to find the problem, and finally found out it was the new category I'd created and assigned the products to.

Long story short - Does anyone know why under the Category options there are only 3 choices for "Product Details Page Display Options" - 2 column image right, 2 column image left, one column? Why isn't there a choice to use the storewide default? I don't think this was always the case - maybe got changed on one of the updates.
