Hi,
   Take a look at : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/productcart/marketing-cross_selling#cross_selling_items_and_accessories
It looks like you have removed the text either side, but the "required icon" has been left behind.
It will take a small amount of code editing to remove it.
This is coded within viewPrdCode.asp within sub pcs_CrossSellingAccessories - search for requiredicon & remove the whole IMG tag, or perhaps the whole td if you prefer - The usual caveats about editing code applies - seem the link in my signature.

Hello everyone.
I am trying to remove the big red (*) that shows up under the cross-selling section of the product details page.  I have gotten rid of the rest of the text that appears there using the languages.asp file, but the big red asterisk must be built into the program?  Can it be removed??  It is not relevant for my situation.  Here is an example of it, on the bottom of this product page:
