    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1595">Dayv3</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2902<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25-July-2009 at 10:46pm<br /><br /><br>Hi,<br><br>We are a USPS shipper and would greatly appreasheate a some more shipping options.<br>We have a bunch of items that I have a hard time getting accurate shipping rates on<br>because they are very light.&nbsp; I do not want to overcharge my customers by adding <br>weight to the item to compinsate for the shipping materals because if they order more then<br>one I will over charge them.&nbsp; Someone talked about a configurable flat rate option which <br>would be great for our heaver items, but it does not address the light weight item problem <br>that we have. <br><br>&nbsp;Is there any way that we could enter the weight of the box into the program<br>and then add the weight of each to the box.<br><br>ie:&nbsp; Box weight = 1.5 Pounds<br>item weights&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1 ounce<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1.3 ounces<br>total&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1 pound 10.3 ounces&nbsp;&nbsp; (shipping weight)<br><br><br>I know this is a simple example but something like the above, in addition to, a configurable<br>flat rate would be great.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br>]]>
