Hi Brett,
   It is in includes/languages.asp (or at least should be - it's in my copy).
Are you searching for "language")&"_categorysearchfield_1" instead of "categorysearchfield_1" ? 
If you still cannot fin it you will need to install the latest copy of the file, not forgetting to transfer any edits you have made across into the new version, software such as Examdiff Pro is very useful for this.

The asp file points to:

Where can I find the language file that contains this? It should be in languages.asp, but it's not there.

Which file is it?
