    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=171">MarkCoyle</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 268<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29-June-2006 at 6:14pm<br /><br />I checked out dozens of software packages before ProductCart as we specialise in downloads and they all use absolute download links.&nbsp;&nbsp; Even the so called dedicated to this area, Actinic package or services such as PayLoadz which ultimately seemed far more constraining than ProductCart.<br><br>We haven't found a problem with big downloads at all - encoding at 192kbs Mp3 we find a hugely growing base of people are quite happy with 80-110MB downloads (unless you're talking 1GB style downloads).<br><br>You could set up a 'book' as a category with the parts being products beneath it.&nbsp;&nbsp; We've done this for some of our double albums for example.&nbsp;&nbsp; With a tiered structure that facilitates this.&nbsp;&nbsp; It's all at http://www.wovenwheatwhispers.com<br><br>The other option would be to set up Prodict Cart as the Content Management System but not process the downloads via it.&nbsp; Then with separate links within one product cart product you could allow people to add multiple products to a basket (this would be easy for example in PayPal).<br><br>cheers<br>Mark<br><br><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=187">grantmx</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 268<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29-June-2006 at 3:29pm<br /><br />Does anybody know how to modify the product settings so that one could download multipul files (without putting them in one huge zip file), once they&nbsp; purchase the product?&nbsp; As it stands now,&nbsp; it seems only one absolute URL can be placed in the&nbsp; Downloadable File Location, which can only point to one file.<br><br>We are trying to create a downloadable audio book and would like for the person to download the book,&nbsp; which is broken up into multipul files.&nbsp; If they&nbsp; downloaded the whole thing at once&nbsp; the download time would be&nbsp; much too long.<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span>]]>
