We are not aware of any issues. You can see this on our demo stores. For example:

I was just wondering if something changed in the latest version 3.5a of the apparel add-on with regard to having products in my store that are both non-apparel products (ie no subproducts) and apparel products (those with subproducts).  It seems to be working now to have both kinds, as because on earlier versions, if I tried to put in a product with no options (and hence, no subproducts existed), the customer would get an error message saying  the product didn't exist in the database on these non-apparel product.
Does anyone know?
