There's nothing in ProductCart that I can think of that is capable of causing this.
In particular, it needs some code to be executed to make any changes to data in the database and there is nothing that happens automatically on a time driven basis.
If this is still a problem please raise a support ticket so we can properly investigate.

We're having an interesting issue with a particular item.  Right now I have 283 units in stock.  I noticed earlier that Product Cart was listing the item as Out of Stock, so I went in and adjusted the stock from 0 to 283 and saved.  The preview indicated the change had taken place but about 10 minutes later the item was showing as Out of Stock again.  This happened several times before we gave up and check disregard stock (which appears to be working).  Suggestions?  ]]> Mon, 23 Feb 2009 16:02:14 +0000 https://forum.productcart.com/problem-with-stock_topic2507_post9061.html#9061
