Author: wycha7
Subject: 2444
Posted: 06-February-2009 at 6:23am

I'm a beginner in Product Cart, I went over the quantity discount and cross promotion feature but neither suit my need.

I have this scenario where I would like to have a promotion on a product. Normally, the product is sold in single quantity. I would like to have a free 1 for every 5 unit promotion for this item.

So it will go like this:
1. Customer enters 4 quantity - cart will show 4 and total = 4 x single price
2. Customer enters 5 quantity - cart will show 6 and total = 5 x single price
3. Customers enters 9 quantity - cart will show 10 and total = 9 x single price
4. Customer enters 12 quantity - cart will show 14 and total = 12 x single price

Is this scenario configurable?

Thanks
-Ben
