The code detect that a certain product is being displayed (or that a certain option group is being used) and hide the quantity field, which would be replaced with a hidden form field whose value is hardcoded to "1".]]>

The name shown in the drop-down menu would be the name of the batch, from what we understand. So you would have:<br><br><b>Leaflets</b><br>Price: £100<br>Package Size<br>&gt; 1000<br>&gt; 2000 - Add £50<br>&gt; 3000 - Add £100<br><br>... where <i>Package Size </i>is an "Option Group" and <i>1000, 2000, 3000&nbsp; </i>are "Option Attributes". The price will change dynamically to reflect the final price (if using the Apparel Add-on).<br><br>The quantity box on the page would then refer to how many batches are going to be ordered (e.g. customer ordering 2 batches of 3000 leaflets).<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by earlyimp - 14-January-2009 at 6:49am</span>]]>

The big different between the two is that with the Apparel Add-on product variations are actual records in the "products" table, which means that there are many properties that you can specify for them (price, images, inventory, etc.).]]>
