Hi Lecmaco,
    Do you mean that you want to limit the number of back-orders / pre-orders to a certain quantity - such as the number you have on order from the supplier?
There isn't a feature like this right now in ProductCart although for markets such as collectibles I can see there would be a need.

I would like to using the back-ordering function on the products, but I do not want to over-sell it, as the item back in stock may have limited or unknown qty, is there any way to control back-ordering qty?

It is possible to use the back-ordering function as pre-order feature?
