Author: ComputerJack
Subject: 225
Posted: 31-May-2006 at 8:50am

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this, and how you set up ProductCart to handle it...

When we ship to Canada via UPS, there are a number of customs fees and such that add about 20% to the cost of the order. We can't find any way to set this up right.

The shipping settings let us put a flat S&H fee on UPS Canada. But that means everyone pays the same, whether they order $5 or $500. Not ideal.

The other option we tried was to add a 20% "tax" for Canada. The problem there is that our items are marked taxable/non-taxable according to PA laws, so the Canadian "tax" only applies to certain items.

Did we miss anything, or are we stuck putting in another hack for %-based S&H?
