I want to offer my consumers buy 2 cases and get a free hat. I would like it that it automatically shows up during the checkout process and would deduct from my hat inventory.

I currently offer an electronic coupon called FREE HAT that when a customer enters the code it triggers $.01 off and shows the FREE HAT so my shipping people know to include it.

Is there a better way to do this? I do not want to create a "special" where 2 cases and 1 hat = a new SKU and are the same price as 2 cases, because my inventory is not set up that way.
