A sudden problem with being able to successfully log into the Control Panel can be due to:

- a password change (check with your staff)
- CAPS LOCK on the keyboard as the password is case sensitive
- inability to connect to the database (e.g. temporary network or server issue)
- encryption problem, which can be due to a change to the file "storeconstants.asp"

As for the 404 issue: make sure that the following tasks have been correctly executed:

- Rename "pcadmin" folder name
- Rename "productcart" folder name
- More information on category navigation in ProductCart

If you cannot figure out the problem, please submit a support ticket.

   I was in the Control Panel trying to go to Settings > Generate Navigation and when I clicked on that link, it gave me a Error 404. I then tried to go back in my browser and it gave me the same error. I then closed out of my browser and opened a new session and typed in the Control Panel URL and it still gave me the error. I now cannot log in at all (where as I had been able to all night). Any suggestions?

Also, on the subject of Generate Navigation, I input the code in to my header.asp for the Generate Navigation and when I go in to the control panel it won't let me execute the wizard to be able to install it. On the actual header.asp page I get a text area saying to go in to Settings, etc in the Control Panel, but every time I try I get the Error 404.
