Under "Overall Product Rating", make sure to select "Can be set independently of sub-ratings". This way a customer will be able to rate the product directly on the product details page. I'm experiencing the same problem.  I've been unable to figure it out. At first we had Rate by 'Feeling' selected. We submitted 2 test reviews and they worked fine with the Smiley Faces.  Then we swapped to Rate by Marks and we only get the pop-up box with questions as well.

Quick question about reviews...

I have the ratings setting set for Rate by Marks 1-10.  I also added a text area for customers to complete if dsired.  Whether they click on the "Rate it" button or the "Write your own review" link, the same screen comes up wth Name, Title, and Text area fields.  They never see the rate it from 1 to 10 part of it.  I have tried it myself and do not see it either.  Do i have something set up wrong?
